The word ‘Smart’ was identified as a focal point for corporate behaviour and communications. A ‘Smart Team’ has been created to embed ‘Smart Thinking’ throughout the company, and ‘Be Smart’ established as the strap-line for all advertising, brochures, mailers etc.

The core idea travels everywhere with the Portman helpline branded ‘Smart Call’ and the online booking system entitled ‘Smart Link’. Following implementation Portman has seen its turnover increase from £179M to £210M per annum.
